Welcome to Solar Infra Systems

Supplemental heat that does not use electric power or fossil fuels
Window heating unit and air distributing fan work solely from solar energy!

Our patented revolutionary technology provides effective
supplementary heat for up to 150 sq. ft. during daylight
hours (equivalent to a 150 to 500 watt electric heater).

When positioned in a southern facing window the solar panel’s 3 dimensional collector cells will absorb infrared rays in sunny and partial cloudy conditions, creating cost effective heating for your space. Solar window panels are also excellent in temporarily vacant recreational properties, garages, sheds, RVs or boats where some heat is needed to eliminate damp or mold.

When placed in a window with Southern exposure, interior cool air is drawn through the lower air intakes by the solar powered fan. The collector cells are heated by infrared energy from the sun. Through convection, the air passes through the collectors and retains the barrier heat. The air then rises to the next collector and repeats the process, adding to the collected heat. The air temperature continues to rise as it passes through each collector.

  • Supplemental room heating usage only
  • Sun God model requires single pane windows
  • Windows are not "E" glass or Argon gas
  • Window has unobstructed southern exposure
  • For optimum efficiency room is 150 square ft. or smaller
  • There is little or no overhang on my home exterior, above the window
  • For partially cloudy conditions we recommend one of the 50 Series.

Reducing Your Carbon Footprint

All of us can have a large impact on moving the planet towards a greener future simply by paying attention to the choices we make every day.

Why Solar? Because the Facts Support it!

In today’s world, non-renewable resources including oil, gas and coal are being consumed at an increasingly alarming rate.

I have two of these units in my house - During the winter months they provide supplemental heat for my 12 x 15 room. I love them and think they work great! We are very satisfied with this product.

I purchased a few of the High Efficiency units for our south facing windows at the cottage for when we are not there. I just had new wood floors put in and I don’t want them to warp in the damp and cold. I felt this was a safer option than buying a solar heater.

I bought one of your air heating units to heat my toddler’s small nursery during the day. I have always been too afraid to use an electric heater in case he touches it. There is no hot air vents in the room, which is a problem only during the day when he naps and we need to close the door to block the noise. Ironically, what I like best is that the fan creates a lot of air circulation in the room and is great white noise for the baby (but much quieter than our big fan). On really dark cold days when the heater isn’t working I have to leave the door open.

I’m an artist on Saltspring and I purchased the portable unit with plans to mount it outside on my backyard studio, so it didn’t block the view from my window. I put it in one of the south windows as soon as it arrived, and have never got around to moving it back outside. I’m not an early riser, so it heats up my studio before I get in there. Cold days I also throw some logs in the wood stove I have out there.
